For those who would prefer not to have to brave the hustle and bustle of congested traffic in the Lower Mainland at this festive time of year, I have prepared a photo album of things you can see in downtown Vancouver that will get you in the mood for Christmas.  As well, I have included images of Christmas lights at Coquitlam's Town Center Park.

These images are best viewed by clicking on one to enlarge it, then clicking to the next ones or back.

Starting off, you can check out what is happening at the Pan Pacific Hotel

 There are decorated trees outside.

Here you will see Woodward's Christmas Windows display as well.

Now that you are in the mood, it is time to go into the core to the Hyatt Hotel...

and visit Gingerbread lane.

Inside you will find many wonderful gingerbread creations from young and old.

The little bears are enjoying a tasty little salmon!

Over at the Four Seasons Hotel, there are plenty of decorated Trees.

 The Polar Express tree.

Over at Robson Square, there was more action.

 An Orca Zamboni?

Well, it does a good job of cleaning the ice.

The Vancouer Library is so unique.

At Coquitlam's Town Center Park, the light show brightens the night sky.

There is a little mine nearby.

There is lots of action on high.

These light decorations are made from bottles.

Across the street, at the City Hall, the light show continued.

"Coquitlam" - means red fish up the river and this work of art reflects that.

That was enough for one day.  I hope you can see some wonderful things as well.
